"makes me suspect
a bad install (did a reinstall today for all but personal files to doublecheck this possibility)
or not having the official in_mp3.dll present (present, and modified date is same as other dlls)
or not having mp3 as the default file type to assume if no extension is detected (check this where?)
or its a quirk in relation to the Winamp install and the OS install (if its this, there's no hope)
and / or soemthing else -- including not having Winamp fully setup as the default pls file handler--.
(Under prefs/playback, PLS is highlighted as associated; and Win7 default for .pls files lists winamp)
