Had to go all the way back to 5.541
Well I tested multiple versions of Winamp and I actually had to go all the way back to version 5.541 from 2008 before I could get a version that would instantly load up reguardless of how quickly I closed and reopened it. A couple of the newer versions behaved better than the current version, but would still sometimes pause for a few seconds with the windows hour glass before opening. I really use winamp mostly as a quick way to preview mp3's in my collection, so I guess for my purposes using a 2 year old version will do, but it would be nice if this might get some attention when they work on the next release.
