^TOXIC HELL!!! I'm not sure I know how I survived my visits to that place (/those places), but somehow I seem to be hungry for more...

On the topic of the batter - in each bowl you only need enough to coat whatever you're dipping. Generally speaking it's rare that I need more than a half-inch of milk to dip the item in - just spin it around enough so that it all gets wet.

Same with the bowl with the beaten egg - one egg is enough to coat a lot of wings or whatever you're dipping.

Same again with flour - the milk and egg will act like a weak glue to help hold the flour to whatever you're dipping into. Use only what's needed to coat, if you run out, put a little more in. No measurements necessary in this case.
