What probs should i get?

Reason I use big buffer is to give it lots of time ahead.
Reason I use silence remover at that setting is to crossfade when signal is low, not so much to remove silence.

ps can you look on your mp3pro settings if you have auto detect silence (not silence2) when opening file on or off?
It is on the Silence tab as mine is off.
Yeah, things get tricky when there are low entries and/or exits, instead of excessive silence. Bottom line, the 'right' crossfade mostly depends on the songs being played. SqrSoft allows for more 'tweaking', but Winamp's default is all that's needed for the basics, imo.

I often use a DSP plug-in and my main issue with large buffers is that they delay hearing the effect of changes, thus making adjustments more tedious to accomplish.

I also have that 'auto detect' option disabled. I'm still using version 1.81. I see that there is a 2.x version now; wonder if I'll have to pay again to upgrade or even if I should (since what I have does what I want).
