what you exactly want is not possible as smart views are only based on what is currently known in the media library. so if you want a smart view which is equivalent of a playlist then you need to specify as part of the query part of the folderpath / filename for the entries in the playlist.
however if the playlist entries are all over the place then it's not going to work and you'd need to come up with a different query or better explain what / why you're trying to do things as there might be a better / simpler way (though i'm not going to reply back to this until the 13th assuming there is a need to).
