I have been for years using Logitech F710 gamepad - and recently tried the only other one that seemed to be configurable enough: 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ Black. But that other was garbage in terms of turning it into a Winamp remote control
Note: you have to set global keyboard shortcuts in Winamp - and then replicate them in the software of your hardware of choice
