Every Other Song I Open Causes An Error

So this is a very strange problem that just started today, its a bit complicated so bear with me. First, if I open a song, everything appears to work fine! But then if I close winamp and open another song, I get one of three errors:

1. RPC Server Is Unavailable
2. The Remote Procedure Call Has Failed
3. The Object Invoked Has Disconnected From Its Clients

If I close the error message and re-open the song, it seems to work again, but then it happens with the NEXT song. It seems to consistently be every-other-song. The problem occurs with songs on ALL HARD DRIVES so it is not a hardware problem, or a problem with an individual song or set of songs.

Here is what I have tried so far to fix the problem:

1. Uninstall WINAMP and manually delete extra files that don't uninstall automatically, re-install winamp, and restart computer

2. Scan for viruses/spyware (nothing wrong here)

3. All other media players WORK! Windows media player, VLC player, DIVX, and quicktime/itunes all work FINE!!

4. Updated WINAMP to the latest version

Please help! Winamp is my favorite player and I want to use it again!!!

PROBLEM HAPPENING AGAIN!!

HELP!!

This problem is happening again As mentioned, it happened every other song that i try to open. One thing i notice is that... If i close the Winamp, and wait for 5 second before reopening another file. The error is gone..

In other word, the error (either one of the 3) only happens if i close the winamp and open another file right away.

Does anyone experiencing the same problem!?

Help!

A couple of things, Winamp is trying to access a resouirce that is not available:
full uninstall and reinstall

Or RPC Service is not functioning properly on your system and it is broke. Which may lead to a system restore.

A Few Notes

Yes,

I did a clean install on winamp, as well as reinstalling the system. But the problem still exists.

As mention, the problem only occur when closing the winamp and reopening it again right away. It seems like the "newly opened" winamp is trying to load something that is being occupied by the "old closed" winamp. And therefor causing the error.

If I wait for like 5 seconds before reopening. Then it run smoothly.

This is a very strange incident.

I am getting a similar issue with windows 7 but only when i open it close it, and try and open another mp3 withing like 3 seconds get rpc not available, using winamp 5.552. If i play another song with winamp open its fine.

Has this been solved?

If you're using Vista then right click on the winamp shortcut, go to properties, then to compatibility, and then set to run as administrator. Solves the problem.
