Strange squares in hint on the tray icon

When I get a hint on tray icon, it shows square in the hint on long names (see attached screenshot, it could be even 2 squares on "Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony #5 allegro con brio"). It could be line-folding char or something.

Winamp 5.35
Windows 2000 SP4

It doesn't abuse me, but it would be good to fix this issue some day. :-)

Best regards!

Mmh...

This has been reported a few times now, and was supposedly fixed for 5.35.

All earlier reports seemed to indicate that it was a Vista-only issue, but apparently it's not Vista-specific. If this is the exact same issue, that is.

Any 3rd-party plugins installed?
More info could give some insight (ie. a List of Plugins).

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.

Yes, it seems to be the same problem

It seems to be the same problem. The difference is that I get this "blocks" (or "squares") not so close in the string as guys with Vista OS.
Third-party plugins: Last.fm scrobbler plug-in and Monkey's Audio (APE) plug-in (now I'm at home, problem is at the work, I'll report what exactly third-party plugins I'm using in about 10 hours).

I've found opinion on the forum that this could be a problem with non-english locales only. I'm in Ukraine, so I have Ukrainian locale set. I'll report details tomorrow.
