Saving Your Place in Podcasts

Is there a way to make WinAmp save your place in a podcast or long file after playing a different file?

What you are asking for can't be done with the current version of Winamp.

There is a plug-in (http://winampplugins.co.uk/timerestore.html) for the current version of Winamp that will let you restart the active file in the playlist from where it was playing or paused when Winamp is shutdown. It also has a few other features.

Winamp Pro v5.666.3516 fully-patched - Komodo X Touchscreen v1.0 by Victhor skin
Windows 10 Home 64-bit v1809 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system

Hmmm....

I'm pretty certain that we did actually implement this feature....

Winamp > Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Media Library > History
Playback Resume: Disabled | Enabled for Podcast files only | Enabled for any applicable files

Isn't that in 5.666? Or is it just in my internal beta build?
