Winamp steals focus on track change (sometimes)
Strangely, it doesn't seem to happen on every track change, but sometimes when the track changes to the next song on the playlist, Winamp will steal focus and pop up as the top window. Usually on top of the stuff I'm working on. *Horrendously* annoying.
Does anyone else experience this? I've tried toying with the 'Always on Top' and setting 'Notifications' to 'Never' but to no avail. Winamp 5.601 Windows 7 64-bit Professional No 3rd party plugins installed outside of the regular Winamp install Using the media library, Bento skin The problem appears to be limited to Winamp. No other application appears to be as rude. Just happened again while typing this forum post BTW. This almost makes iTunes seem like a reasonable alternative. |

I can confirm this bug! My configuration:
- Windows 7 Professional x64 - Winamp v5.61 (x86) - Skin: Winamp Modern - no Winamp plugins installed Winamp doesn't steal focus always - just sometimes. I suppose, that it interfere with some program like command line shell or so. It happens almost always, when I write some message in Outlook 2003. Sometimes log-out and log-in into windows is sufficient to stop this behavior, sometimes restart is needed. Could you please take a look at this issue? |
