Shoutcast port checker
I've done some searching around the internet, and my search ahs been fruitless so far.
I'm using nc -z to check for the connectivity to my shoutcast server. While this normally doesn't cause issues with other software, it does appear that with shoutcast I've got an error log full of these: 2013-06-04 07:32:01 E msg:[SRC 142.4.209.153:51126] Remote socket closed while waiting for data While this really isn't an issue since i know what it is, I was wondering if I could pick someones brain here to have a way to fire a packet at the shoutcast daemon that won't cause this error. Or maybe a different way of going about this. My main concern is simply that while it is plaintext logs, plaintext can get quite large. Thanks in advance. |
