Repeated silences
Hello,
I'm here to talk about a big issue we currently have on Radio Compile. There are so many silences... First problem: no transition at all between jingles and songs. Sometimes, no song is played at all and we have like 2 minutes of silence, then another jingle, one silence and then only a song. But it happens litterraly every ten minutes. We also have a lot of repetitions. They play a song, then silence, two jingles, silence and replay the same song. I have no idea what's happening and i have no answer from technical support. I didn't change anything in my configuration and it worked 2-3 weeks ago. Now, after like 4-5 tries on technical support, i decided to post here to find a solution and solve this problem. Do you use SHOUTcast monetizing option?

Hi,
We decided not to use it. We tried to enable it again. It seems that it's working again, now. Doest it means that without monetizing program, some bugs like that can appears ? Thanks for your help ! |

If you use monetizing than it's probably give you an advertisement breaks,and if there no jingle or something else( I am not very familiar with that function) that silence between tracks would be a silent advert.

If you are at Shoutcast for Business the problem is known and there are several reports of it, I have already reported it to the technical team.

Yes, i'm using Shoutcast for Business. And yes, i've open a ticket and contact the support. I had no answer
