Broadcasting from an iPhone or iPad?

I am a presenter on an online radio station using SHOUTcast and am wanting to start taking my shows outside of the studio. Does anyone know of an app for the iPhone or iPad that will allow me to do radio shows?

not via any official SHOUTcast tools. i'm not sure if there's any source software on the iOS platform that can connect to a DNAS server, though i've not found anything obvious from a quick search. i suppose it wouldn't be too complicated for someone with iOS and streaming experience to do it (assuming the iOS platform allows it).

Hello Chuckmeister85,

I am an apple developer and have apps for both the iPhone and iPad.
The iPad one is capable of streaming music (from your iPod library) and voice, the iPhone one is only capable of voice but can be connected to other audio equipment using third party adapters to stream music and voice.

What about the metadata when connecting it to a audio source like a CD player or say a mixer that has a 3.5 MM jack on it? Now this could simplify Shoutcast broadcasting for those who don't have mega bucks for broadcasting or who want to do mobile Live events.
