I hate Broadcaster Pro

and I need better software to broadcast a live radio show over shoutcast servers. Can I use anything with BUTT? What are the best alternatives to Broadcaster Pro?

By Broadcaster Pro I presume you're referring to SAM?

RadioDJ is a FREE alternative to most paid for software it will outshine most of the players on the market.

Thank you. And I am assuming that you mentioned RadioDJ because it has a seamless integration to shoutcast?

There is plenty there
OTS DJ , Radio DJ , Sam Broadcaster, Zara Studio etc etc , just use google to do a playout system search.

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

Nope, it's not a radiostation just a non stop darkwave music stream

and which program will allow me to broadcast live to shoutcast without microphone lag in my headphones?

Thanks in advance. If I can't find a solution, 3 microphones (including a Blue Yeti) and two computers later (powerful pc's) and I cannot get rid of the lag...

Erm... try Voicemeeter it can mix audio from several sources and send that signal out to a Stand Alone Encoder to send your audio to Shoutcast.

perhaps the easy way , is get a mixer, connect computer to it , connect a decent Mic to it and use the output to the computer that is connecting the stream.

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

Nope, it's not a radiostation just a non stop darkwave music stream

VirtualDJ issues solved. Broadcasted live this morning. Nice. And, FWIW, I have no idea how anyone gets past the SQL bull -it's extremely complicated and convoluted and unless you are a C= coder or programmer, there's no way to get it dialed in correctly.

We did it by learning these things through trial and error. A MySQL server doesn't need to be a scary thing

If you read tutorials and take your time its easy to learn.

I knew NOTHING about databases 10 years ago. Now I've learned and I know what to to do.
