Spectrum analyzer fail on CD play

I'm using the newest version (5.601) and when I play CD's the peak level of the spectrum analyzer seems to show low volume even though the they sound OK.
Moreover, the whole care with CD's is not it was on previous versions. The reading and seeking are very slow, and after a CDDB mach accept the songs list is not updating.

Hope to see these issues fixed in the next version.
