using PHP to display song titles in a forum sig.

I've searched here but have found little help. I want to create a dynamic signature for a couple forums I frequent. I have the php code that displays the current song broadcasting but I don't know what to do with it. I've found that I need to parse it into an image because most forums don't allow just straight php but I just can't figure it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have, yes. That's actualy where I got the php code. The problem I'm having is I can't just paste the code into a forum signature because it can't read it. From what I understand I need to put the code into an image so I can use the [IMG][/IMG] tags. That's the part I don't know. I think I need to install GD, that seems to be something that keeps popping up saying I need and according to phpinfo I don't have it.

You have to uncomment [remove the ";"] the library load line in the php.ini file.

;extension=php_gd2.dll

Beware that having the script called whenever your sig displays [somtimes many times on the same page] may load your DNAS and the HTTPd running the PHP script.

Are you kidding?
I've read through about 50 webpages online about 10 full tuts and not one said to do that. I guess they assumed I would actually know something about PHP and not just jack code from someones website

Is there a better way to do it? One that wont cause as much of a load on my server?

I uncommented "extension=php_gd2.dll" but still can't get it to work. Stumped again.
