Copying Played Song History
I just got a new computer which I plan on copying my music to. I have been using Winamp for the past 2+ years and one feature I really like is the ability to see the last time a song/album was played and how many times it has been played.
I was wondering if there is some way to bring this history over to my new computer. Any suggestions? Also, is there an easy way to copy my media library to my new computer assuming I leave the folder structure the same? One potential issue (?) is the new system is Windows 7 while my old computer is Windows Vista. Thanks. |

Shouldn't be a problem, Koopa has designed a tool to help with back up and migration.
See here : http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=317153 Keeping the same folder structure for your music is exactly the thing to do. UJ |

A followup question however is whether or not there is a way to merge (in real time or manually on occasion) the playback history. I have an external HD (with the same folder structure) at work which I use during the days. It would be nice to preserve the history over all my listening. Perhaps I need to look into a cloud solution, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks. |
