Volume too low on ipod in car

I recently transferred all my music from iTunes to WinAmp, and after syncing, my music volume is WAAAAY too low in the car. I have to turn the volume all the way up on both my iPod and my car radio to hear the music a little bit.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!!!

Buy a portable that can output a louder signal. Or are you saying that the volume is lower when you sync from Winamp to the iPod than when you sync from iTunes to the iPod?

The volume is significantly lower when syncing via WinAmp than when using iTunes. When using iTunes, the volume levels were perfect, but now the sound quality is extremely low because of the 'hum' produced from having the speakers turned up so high.
