Mpeg2 AAC or mpeg4 m4a

Which does Shoutcast use? I have just tried the Winamp AAC encoders for the first time.

the "content type" returned by the dnas for aac streams is "audio/aacp" -- that's not super-specific, but i think it's intentional. The content-type determines what player app will open on a client to handle the aac stream.

There is a drop down menu, 32kbps, 48kbps, 64 kbps, 96 kbps, and 128 kbps are available as mpeg4 aac, mpeg2 aac, and mp3, which additionally goes up to 192 kpbs, 256 kbps, and 320 kbps.
