5.581 crashes because of Shoutcasts Flash-Ad?
Hi,
I have just reinstalled Winamp but this didn't help. I have also reinstalled Flash (as a Firefox Add-On. I don't know if this is sufficient) but this didn't help either. I use WinXP professional. What happens: If I click on SHOUTcast in the media library the SHOUTcast page gets opened. However, Winamp crashes when the Flash ad gets loaded that is at the top of the page. I think it depends on the Flash ad since sometimes it gets loaded and all works fine. But then, if I reload the page I think the 'next' ad gets loaded and then Winamp crashes again. If I have seen it correctly the crash has also happened when Flash was not installed (this was after I have uninstalled Flash and before reinstalling it with Firefox). Very sad since I cannot use SHOUTcast normally anymore. I always have to stop loading the page before the ad gets loaded. A second too late and Winamp has crashed. Is this already known? Does anyone has the same problem and knows a solution/workaround? Thanks, Robert |
