Jammix Enhancer

Let me start by stating that I love my Winamp!!! I will never give it up.

Yesterday, I was going through all the neat plug ins available and Jammix Enhancer caught my eye. Downloaded and installed. When I tried to play an audio track, I started getting messages that said something like "floating point error". I mean LOTS of these messages nested right behind one another. Also, many, many Winamps started up. Had to shut down my computer to get it to stop.

What's going on? Did I install wrong? Is there something I don't know about installing plug ins? I've searched for bugs etc, but didn't find anything.

Please help.

Using WinXP Winamp ver 5.09.

Thanks -

I just tried an experment - I changed my skin. Was using ZDL Analog Studio and changed to Winamp Classic. Seems to be working fine.

Do skins have that much effect on plug ins etc?

Some plugins are not fully compatible with the modern skin engine, so yes, a skin can have effect on plugins.

Sorry, third-party plugins are not supported on the forums. Try contacting the author of the plugin (if you downloaded it from winamp.com/plugins, you can click the author's name to contact him/her).

If you don't get the plugin to work properly, go to Prefs > DSP/Effect, select the plugin and press the 'Uninstall selected plug-in' button.

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.
