ICY Protocol details?

I am a programmer, and I want to be able to send data to a shoutcast Server using my own program. However I don't have the details on how the ICY protocol works. I was wondering if anybody could explain to me how the data is sent on that protocol?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for all of your help I now have code in mirc that will allow one to dj without having to have winamp/SHOUTcast open . Only thing left is to figure out how to make the mp3s different qualities when sending. Once I have figured that out it will work just as well as SHOUTcast .

Thanks again
