"equalizerless" skins

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to make a skin in which the equalizer isn't visible, and I am completely stuck. How do I get rid of the eq bars? I'm sort of confused about this, and I would appreciate any advice that anyone could give.

You can't. The Equalizer does not support transparency.

II have skins on my computer in which the equalizer is not showing, and is just a continuation of the picture in the main window, maybe with the ON, AUTO, and PRESETS buttons near the top. You essentially said that skins like these cannot exist. I have attached a picture of the kind of skin that I am talking about. I still would really like to know how skins of this type are made, so I don't have to restart my Brilliant Green skin from scratch.

The buttons are made to look like the background. if you want to know how to do it open up one of those skins and copy it. But individual component bitmaps do not support transparency.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Just crop the area where the bars are out of eq.bmp. That makes the bars invisible.

Umm. I checked the Tin Angel skin and that (cropping the eq bars off) is exactly what had been done. So...my brilliant green skin should be done soon. ^^ arigato...
