*sigh* pass me the cloth.

It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this.

Crockery first (large plates, small plates, soup dishes). Then the cups, beer and wine glasses. After that, the cutlery and saucepans. Finally, the colinder.

No slacking!

I prefer to see an instrument being played, rather than just mouths on microphones.

Would a boy band member know one end of a guitar from the other? Would he try to comb his hair with a harmonica? At least the nu-metal acts make nice music. Shame it's ruined by the tribalism.

Well it's all personal taste Taylor. One final point....

The phrase 'boy band' is deceptive. The word 'band' implies a group of people with instruments. No instruments!!!! So, how about:

Singing Artists

or, for groups like Atomic Kitten who specialise in covers:

Karaoke Artists

Very funny!Boy-bands represents pop music. It has a lot to do with instruments. But most importantly they need great vocal, better others.'Cause thats what pop music is all about. There'll be instuemsntall touch but make it sure that it don't spoil the voices.

Actually, they are still young thats why they call boy-band.Ya , they stay forever young........becausue they break up before they get aged , so the picture that is in the fans heart is evergreen! And it reamins evergreen.
Boy-band is the best name for boy-bands!

All pop music is good music but all good music isn't pop music

Here's something that's been floating around on my mind for some time:

Why is it that white singing groups are instantly labeled as boy bands and yet black ones are not?

The only boy-band whose music I've seriously appreciated is Backstreet Boys. Their album Millenium is one of my all-time favourites; but thereafter, I've simply given up listening to them.

That's probably because there aren't that many black boy-bands (or groups of such artists) as whites... which probably isn't a part of their music culture.

Even among such black boy-bands, their music is invariably Hip-Hop, Rap or Reggae, which has existed for ages. White boy-bands are comparitively a recent fad.

What'z wrong with BSB?If Millenium is good Black & blue is better.Try some songs of it like Shape of my heart,More than that,The answer to our life, the call........ok?
Moreover BSB is not the only great boy-band.I personally prefer Savage Garden,MLTR & Westlife most.
And for black bands ,they are not specialist in pop music. But if there are 1 or 2 black members in any boy-band (like Blue),it is also call boy-band.It has nothing to do with black or white.

All pop music is good music but all good music isn't pop music

Black & Blue, IMHO sucks.

Alright, 'Shape of my heart' was the only decent track; but the rest of them don't make a good album at all. 'The Call' was one outrageous production - when you compare that with some of their earlier hits, Everybody & Larger than Life, you wouldn't believe if it's a BSB track!

Savage Garden is NOT a boy band.

I find it hard to beleive that Jessica Simpson is seriously as stupid as she is portrayed on that MTV show. Granted she may not be the smartest pop star but I think MTV takes her out of context.
