Mp4 playback trouble

I don't know if this is the place to post this but if not, sorry.

I was playing an mp4 media when i noticed there were (how do I put it?) color imbalances(?) in some places. and that's not all some parts also appears to be grainy. It's not the file that is busted 'cause i played it both windows media player and Quicktime and it plays perfectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Will help if you post a link to the video.

Or at least get some of the specs of the video (http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo is very handy for grabbing the details)

All "MP4" files are not the same. The MP4 is just a container and it can have all kinds of things inside.
