Winamp in a ghost story...

Quote:
...Suddenly her PC blasted songs from the Winamp again!! As was said before, it won't run unless someone clicks on the "Play" button on the PC. And nobody else was in the house!
...
From a real story(?) from a local paranomal investigation site. Happened to stumble upon it today.

Thanx

Unless a remote user had access to the device....

I am so important I feel the need to let it be known like a liberal discovering the internets for the first time. Uh hur hur hur. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.

Either that or we could go with the idea that spirits cause electrical disturbances and used that ability to change some 1s and 0s in the CPU instructions to command Winamp from beyond.

Bzzzzzzzz, wrong. You can press "x" to start playing.

It may well be that the guy thought the focus was on some other application and he started typing away.

read the story they said no one was at the pc.

I think someone forgot the alarm clock plugin was active or they were too drunk to realize that the playlist was still going.
