Check Windows Registry for active install
One of the components to be installed in the installation script is a OLE DLL application.
I am trying to search the Windows Registry to determine if there is an active installation already on the workstation. i.e. it shows up in the Programs and Features list of the Programs section in the Control Panel. However, even after uninstalling the application, the registry entries for the DLL application remain. I am able to find out of the registry exists in the HKEY_Classes_Root section, using the Registry plug-in. Any guidance of how to proceed is greatly appreciated. |
