I have searched now for "Berliner Weihnachtsmärkte", Weihnachtsmarkt Alt-Rixdorf", "Ku'damm zu Weihnachten", "Einkaufszentren zu Weihnachten"...
https://www.google.de/search?q=berli...ed=0CAgQ_AUoAQ
https://www.google.de/search?q=weihn...ed=0CAkQ_AUoAg
https://www.google.de/search?q=ku%27...w=1876&bih=906
https://www.google.de/search?q=einka...w=1876&bih=906
and the images are very impressive. Also You Yourselves can search for festival markets in Your cities, towns and villages.

In Spring 2002 I was exposed to extreme loads, with a breakdown as result. After Summer 2002 I didn't want to use a bus on the Ku'damm anymore, and when in Autumn 2008 one of the U-Bahn-Stations had to be closed because of a repair, I refused to use a bus. But later in December I had my meeting with 2 girlfriends, and they wanted to make also a bus-tour on the Ku'damm. I gave my Okay, and through the bus-window I made many photos. It was already evening. Also in a shopping-center I made many photos. The most photos look very blurry or they show also other people, which cannot be avoided, if I make photos on well-visited places.

The next days with become very stressy with further dates and errands. I might not make it the other important things, which I wanted to finish for the community in the internet before the 24th December. I will update "My List Of Skins And Presets" soon, also if I will not be ready yet. Hopefully next year I will have more time, especially in December, and then I can also visit a festival market or celebration again.

At least I have finally uploaded very good photo-albums some days ago, and I use many nature images also as textures...

At the upcoming weekend I have planned to work on my Cats-Playlist in YouTube and I want to add a few videos...

Yesterday I have visited the cemetery, and there was a nice decoration on mums grave. I made 4 photos. If my cousine in Baden-Württemberg will get a computer in 2015, then she can get my files.

I have also visited the supermarkets Aldi and Kaisers. Finally Aldi had again the "Dominosteine". Google refuses to translate it, so I myself have to do that now: domino stones
https://www.google.de/search?q=domin...ed=0CAgQ_AUoAQ

Yesterday I was too exhausted and my PC stayed off. And now I am fighting against my next cold. I think, I should rest many times, because I had planned a few things for the 24th December...

For the people who would like to run a train around their tree I made this small track layout. With a couple of trains on it this would keep the kids (and dads) busy for hours.

Wow! As a young kid I ran my train around the Christmas tree for 4 or 5 years. My tracks allowed only 2 layouts, a circle or an oval. I remember being jealous of my neighbor who could make more elaborate layouts, but nothing like this. I stuck small gift boxes under the tracks in various places (for upgrades and downgrades) and tried running the train as fast as I could without it jumping the tracks or had it make spectacular crashes. I loved that train, thanx for causing me to recall the memory.

I assume it is now possible to run multiple trains independently on the same layout. This almost makes me want to run out and buy some train sets!

Happy holidays everyone.

I have had a better-than-usual holiday season this year because more family members than usual were able to align their busy schedules and visit with one another. I've probably visited around twice as many family members this year when compared to most other years, and it was needed.

I hope everyone here at winamp is having a good winter.

I think, it is happening right now on a balcony, on the other side of the street. They have "Christmas Lights". Why not?...

@ swingdjted : I see Your posting with the letters in 2 colors. We would just need Paint.NET, IrfanView and Photoscape and of course "Alien Encounters" in C > Windows > fonts. What's about 2 "Christmas Logo" in 1280x640 pixel, with the letters in Red and Green and a black background?... Oh no, I have already told too much, because it should be a surprise for the next 24th December. Maybe we could do at first a "logo_summer.jpg" and then a "logo_winter.jpg"...

in my newer years i always reveled in it when i somehow managed to put off taking down the christmas tree on enough into the fresh year that it could no longer be called new.

I myself have made the next "logo"-files with 4 subsets and over 300 .jpg-files in 1280x640 pixel, with the font Alien Encounters and always with a black background. The subset "logo" has the most files, for example with music genres. I can imagine also a further subset, "logocover" in 1280x1280 pixel. "logocover" always can be integrated into "logo", but "logo" never can be integrated into "logocover", if we use "sampler_rand_00_subset".

4 days ago I have made my "Christmas Experiments" at midday, although we have June now. Then I went to the meeting. Someone worked already on the next "Winter Clothes" and another one brought gingerbread to the meeting, although gingerbread is not sold right now. The next gingerbread will be offered in September.

I have used Paint.NET, PixBuilder Studio, IrfanView, Photoscape. I have made "Merry Christmas" with the font Segoe Print, with uppercase & lowercase letters and with just uppercase letters, also as transparent .png-files. I had to figure out the right pixel size, because I have also copied 12 "xmaslights"-files (PNG) from a .zip-folder (a former .wal-file by Koopa). I have prepared 4 .jpg-files, and I have made GIF-Animations. I would have already the "Xmas Textures", although a "Merry Christmas Preset" does not exist yet. But there are enough good preset authors in the Winamp Forums, and we have enough time, a half year...

Hello everyone,

in 4 days we will have the 1st December.

What should we do? Should we continue with this thread from the previous year or should the new thread for the current year be opened? Who could do that?

@ Widdykats , I didn't see You here for a while...

@ webthing , maybe You will have an idea...

@webthing,
I don't know what's more amazing. The fact that someone looped that song for 10 hours or the fact that you found it.

@Sabine,
We should wait for Widdy. But you can start a new thread for 2015 yourself to carry on the tradition, if she doesn't show up.

Let me guess: The Jingle Cats, a 10-hours-video.

I am sitting right now in the computer-room of the meeting-point, at one of 2 Linux Computers, and although I don't see the video-thumbnail in the forums thread, 2 days ago I have discovered the 10-hours-video directly in YouTube, where I can play the videos without problems. I played a little bit Jingle Cats, and the other people said: "Wow!!!... That's funny!!!"...

I will wait a few more days...
