Where do you save downloaded skins?
I have tried to save skins into winamp but I open the skins floder then save it there then open winamp and its not there. where do I save it? and I have the latest version of winamp.

The default folder is
winamp\skins. Are you sure you downloaded the full version? If not, do so. OTherwise, go to Ctrl + P --> Skins. Click the "set skins directory" button, and it will highlight the skins dir. (the full version is not the paid version) powered by C₈H₁₀N₄O₂ |

well heres the folders come up with
about notifier player scritps shade standerdframe title bar window XML and thats all the different folders in winamp/skins |

No. Those are the subfolders inside
Winamp\Skins\Winamp Modern Basically, the Winamp Modern skin is already in an uncompressed state. Most, if not all, other skins come in the form of .WAL (modern) or .WSZ (classic) files. These are basically just renamed ZIP files. You should place these files in the Winamp\Skins folder, and not in any sub folder. Though, as long as WAL and WSZ are correctly associated with winamp, then this whole process should be automatic when you click the "download" link. What is your Windows OS and Internet Browser? |
