Crashes ONLY when Media Library shows "Large Details"

I'm running 5.63

I only use winamp to play MP-3 on this laptop that connects wirelessly to a desktop PC in my basement where I store my library

I have been using this laptop for years and never had issues

Over the past months, it suddenly started crashing while scrolling in the media library

I get a prompt saying "Winamp has stopped working" , at which point I need to close the program and restart it

This happened more and more, till I was almost ready to uninstall and reinstall the program when by trial and error, I figured out that if I switched the ML to "Medium Details", it doesn't crash....ever

I do like to display "Large Details" as it shows the "Length" of the CD's, but there is way to display that in the medium or small setting

Any ideas on why displaying "Large Details" would consistently crash the program?

No, but try the lastest patched version (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=373755).

It installed right on top of the existing version, and no more crashes!

I appreciate the good advice!
