the c-walk, is it right to use as a dance step?

everyone knows what/who the crips are, if you dont then i'll fill ya in, the crips are one of the largest gangs in our country and probably the world, origionally from my hometown of LA, wich is still a major blood-crip war zone... well the crips are known almost soley by thier special walk, wich is basically a heel to toe hop type step( really hard to describe how it looks...) but the cripwalk has become a major dance step for rappers and many young people, but what these people who dance using the crip walk dont realise is they disrespect crips, the crip walk is a part of crip culture, and using it when your not a crip can result in some bad shit happening to you, ive seen it plenty of times... some clubs and schools have banned the crip walk fearing the violence that can result from a person doing it so im asking you people, should the regular american public be allowed to practice the crip walk in these public places even though it might result in death or a good ol' fashoned broken jaw???

(there!! almost perfect english for ya guys!!!)

lol, i want your opinions!! start replyin, please!!!

gah.

this crips and bloods thing is waaaaaaay old.

as far as a specific style of walk, its ridiculous to say that it can be regulated, etc. my feeling is that if someone wants to walk like that, and they get shot, its their problem for imitating a violent group of people. its just common sense that if you dont represent a certain group of people, you dont imitate their actions. sorta like the ricers that put NOS stickers on their car and dont have any. they deserve to be shot.

missyob made me post this.

I wonder...did the crips go to the United States Patent Office,
and get a patent on their walk?
Or go to the United States Copyright Office,
and get thier walk copyrighted?
Probably not...so they don't own it.
Since they don't own it, why are they so sensitive about it
being used?
Seems to me they'd be happy, that the way they walk,
has been made into a dance.

Years before there were bloods and crips,
there were Hells Angels, and the Outlaws,
and other motorcycle gangs.
If you were caught wearing the colors of one of these gangs,
and not be a member of that gang, you were in a world of trouble.
People were killed over colors.
But the colors were something you wore, not the way you walked,
or talked.

So the question I have about both situations is:
Why in the world would you want to do it,
when you know it's gonna get you hurt?

ever had 5 guys beat the shit out of you and you couldnt fight back? thats initiation to the crips, i think they feel they have gone through alotta pain to become crips and to see people try and take thier lifestyle without that same pain is to some extent an insult, the c-walk is thier culture as crips thats all they have seeing someone copy it for fun sucks, the c-walk doesnt represent fun, it represents the life crips lead and the pain they had to experience, i think whoever does the c-walk and isnt a crip deserves what they get, and ive seen what they get, either killed or nearly killed all because they are jus sum wannabe gangsta

And then again, there are some who think people who submit themselves to a voluntary beating so as to gain initiation into some useless fraternity are just prime examples of moronic, adolescent behavior.

I swear, maybe things like this happened in the Cro Magnon age, but they shouldn't now...

Ah yes...hazing.
This too has been going on since the beginning of
college fraternities, way before crips and bloods.
I wonder if the gangsta's know what they do to initiate
their followers is copying what young white frat kids did at colleges.
Funny thought...

The answer to the question is most definately yes,
I have the right to walk any way I want, anywhere I want,
whenever I want, regardless of who walked that way before me,
without any fear at all.
Walking is a natural born reflex, that seperates humans from the animal world.
Noone, and I mean NOONE, owns the rights to walking...
even walking a certain way.

If these gang members want to own something,
and then be able to dictate what goes on with it,
they ought to go buy a piece of land and build a house on it,
make all the payments on time to the end,
keep all their taxes paid, and vote in elections.

So like Aerosmith sang..."Walk this way..."

"Well, got to love you and leave you, need to go get into the shower and rub my hard naked body all over with soapy bubbles, I'll be back later to carry on playing....

It'll take you some time to get over the image of me naked in the shower......mind you don't masturbate to hard thinking about it...."

yes you should be able to walk any way you want any place you want but even if your puttin your life in danger??the gov't figures that they are saving your life by enforcing certain things, and the c walk is one of the things they are looking to ban in clubs and schools for our own well being they say, but they do the same thing with airbags in cars, it is illegal to not have a working airbag yet airbags can increase the risk of dying for some people in car accidents such as short people, or children.

really i'd like to see a congressmen come down here and c walk, an old white guy c-walkin... um LMAO!!!
