Proxy? Resolving hostname
I'm at school, and I'd like to listen to some internet radio while I do some work. I'm behind a proxy which I don't know much about.
I took the proxy data from my firefox settings (HTTP-proxy+port), and my login and password that I use when I log in to windows or stream with media player. Assume my login is "abbe84", my password is "password", my http-proxy is "proxy" and my port is "8080" So I entered this into the proxy field in winamp: "[abbe84:password@]proxy:8080" I've also tried without the "@". Using direct links from websites such as Shoutcast doesn't help. Thanks /abbe84 edit: disabled smileys |

I just noticed the error message changes when you do that though: HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Authentification Required (The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy Service is denied. I'm using version 5.09 |

Thanx!
I think I'm giving up not having the authorities to pla around with my fire wall setting or open up a port. /Abbe |
