Winamp works in Linux
In response to this thread, I tried to install Winamp in Linux, and it worked right away with no problem

Winamp does work in Linux with Wine, but it's not anywhere near 100%.

not forgetting that moving the Winamp windows seems to be broken (was when i tried it a few weeks back) and is at least logged in the bugtracker but looks like it's something system related rather than truely down to wine *shrugs*

I've seen that many times as well. I've also seen the eq/pe window not comeback visible when switching desktops and you can't get the windows back by toggling the corresponding visibility buttons. I have to use an external program to force reshow those windows. lol
These issues are not a huge bother for me though because I rarely switch desktops on the one linux machine I run Winamp on because it's really only for streaming. ![]() |
