NSIS v2.47 & v2.48 & v2.49 & v2.50

NSIS 2.47 is a maintenance and security release. There was however a issue with the HTML help compiler on the machine that produced the release and the .chm file got corrupted, 2.48 has been released to fix this issue.

CreateShortcut stopped working on Vista machines with a certain security patch installed. This probably a bug in Windows but was triggered by security changes in 2.47. A workaround was added in 2.49.

So 2.47 was merged from 3.0 branch?
Or are they some new features which are not present in 3.0?

2.47 is 2.46 with some security changes ported back from the 3.0 branch. The 3 other changes are listed in the change log. The latest 3.0 beta does not contain these changes.
