How do you DISABLE Gracenote CDDB for Winamp 5

Hi,

I don't like gracenote cddb it's constantly popping up and I'm sick of it. How do I turn it off? I have searched through the forums, faq etc but the best I could find was to enable it in Winamp3 by preferences > audio and checking the box to enable, but how do you disable in Winamp 5?

Thanks!

At a guess...

I'd try Preferences -> Plugins -> Input -> Nullsoft CD/Linein Plugin -> Uncheck "Use CDDB."

But I'm guessing.

Slightly different

I found it in:

Preferences>Plugins>Input>Nullsoft CD Plug-in (MusicID 2.6) v4.02>Configure

When you get there, uncheck the MusicID box and that's it!

Thanks for the suggestion. You were close and it helped me find it!

the original posts and details were from 13 years ago so its to be expected that some details may have changed. though as there is no working Gracenote support in Winamp now (due to the same and the contract expiring), using that option doesn't really matter now anymore.
