WinAmp doesn't read album art in FLAC files

Well the title says it all really. It reads album art OK from MP3 files, but not from FLAC files. I only mention this because I was using WinAmp to test our own software (VinylStudio) and I was a bit worried when the album art we put in there didn't appear. I can supply a test file on request, just say the word.

Test file would be appreciated. FLAC embedded Album Art was tested ages ago to work, but there might be some variations that aren't accounted for.

If file is too large to attach, then upload to some webspace and send us the url.

If no personal webspace, then use one of sendspace.com, mediafire.com or dropbox.com

Same problem here. Just started to try Wimamp to rip to FLAC but the album art didn't show up at all. It also won't generate a directory the the CD title for any Album?

is winamp supposed to embed art into the tag when ripping? i'd be surprised.

to the OP, what filetypes were you embedding? did you get them example files?

i personally don't embed artwork, its more problematic to do it than not to do it. besides, an album only needs one art file, embedding is duplication.
