Hi,
I can't get my ads to trigger with TargetSpot, they were working fine. Do you only have to do the id3 tags when adding Advert: ? I mean can you name the actual file anything when it's on your desktop? As long as the ID3 tags for Title & Contributing Artist are named Advert: Here's one of my files I'm using for an advert: https://snag.gy/B4MKCz.jpg |

Hi,
what you see in your SC2 song history (on server)? Is the title called: Advert Trigger: - Advert:? |

I think I fixed it, redid the ad and tags then restarted the stream,
From SHOUTcast Stream History: Before: 20:49:50 Progressive Techhouse on .... After: 21:23:18 Advert Trigger: - Advert: https://snag.gy/PcGARs.jpg Although I still hear my own advert while testing the stream. That double dollar sign indicated the ads were served to someone. |

Keep in mind that there are both a "Minimum Audience" and "Monetized Country" requirements to have ads played.
The first is to guarantee 500 hours/day in listener time, that is roughly 20 concurrent listeners. The second is that your listeners have to belong to any of the monetizing countries. Check the Revenues section, there's the list on the left. Now, there's a chance that you might not get ads if the ad-pool is empty. But that's rare, if both of the above are fulfilled. Hope it helps, keijo! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I restarted the stream and tested the ads so think all is good now.
One of our streams only has about 10 listeners tuned in but the ads are working now. |
