Hi There kitty.

I listen to some pop also. You know, you just need to do things for yourself. If you like the belt, and it made you feel better about yourself then why not? Dont worry about what other people think. How you feel and what you think is more important.

I spent the first half of my life worrying about what others would think and say. I am spending the second half for myself. I find myself much happier.

And heres some I found that aren't animated:
Cats and Kittens
All the nonanimated need to be resized to 50x50
and a couple of the animated above can be resized too.
If you like any of them, let me know which one,
I'll resize it for you and post it back.

Hmmm, possibly maybe in some rare cases. The four, five, six, or (in the case of the "So Solid Crew", 27) vocalists generally spoil it by singing the same old shit but with different words. Not that SSC's backing music is good, it was just a rather contrived link to point out the number of members.

POP isn't bad music genaricly the same way that not all clasical music is boring. It's just a common opionon by the currently most vocal age group (usually 18-27 year olds).

And as for doing something to look/feel better, it's nothing unusual or to be ashamed of, how many of us get up everymorning and shave, or brush our hair?? it's the same thing. There's no practical reason for brushing our hair anymore then just tying the scragilly clumps back behind our heads. We do it because it makes us feel better and becuase it makes us look more pleasing to others

But thats just my two cents

ok, not all examples work EVERYWHERE. I don't really brush mine either, i shower, throw a ball cap on and hope that the cap pushes it into a somewhat neat clump.

Well, maybe, but it'd be better to be on the safe side. Then again continuing not to brush my hair'd save me the 5minutes or so in the morning... thats good time that can be used for forum surfing and other such usefull activities

please don't be offended this is just my humble opinion...

Anyway, I think people worry about their looks way too much! This is one of the worst things about our society, everything in our life is judged by looks or popularity. Nothing that is really important counts, like intelligence or personality.

And it's not supposes to either... thats just the way our twisted little society has done with pop. It's meant to be entertainment, not a way of life or a source of idols. It's simply not practical for people to take pop singers as idols, they're not likely to end up in the same position as the pop singer/band, they're not likely to end up on stage singing to a large bunch of screaming fans. So it's not practical for them to take pop stars as idols.

Don't Bash Pop! I bet you that you even listen to pop. Mostly everything what everyone listens to now on the latest music is Pop.

Also looks, and popularity are what are on most people's minds. They want to be unique, and different than everyone else. Also if everyone became the same, it gets boring. Also about Britney Spears, she is countering her actions of her fans, like dressing so and so, and acting like her, won't make that fan be more like Britney. Its a psychotic thing that happens to most fans.

It's called Rock, you fool. Guns n' Roses, Muse, Travis, Stereophonics, Blur, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Ash, Starsailor, Beck, U2, Weezer, The Verve, The Stone Roses, RCHP, Queen, REM, Oasis, to name most of my favourite bands.

And they're bands too, not just a group of singers. They can (shock!) play instruments! And write their own songs (more shock)! And better still, the music sounds good!

Called PopRock, everything you listen to is popular at one time, if they are successful. I listen to a bunch of those bands you have listed, and just people as well.

very simple solution: everyone's entitled to their own opinion about what is good music and waht isn't.
I personally coulnd't care less for pop music, though many of my friends love it, and hate my music, but that doesn't matter.

And everyone cares about how they look. Hell, i got sick of my hair which would only stay combed one way, so i shaved it off at school on monday. I'm now almost bald (as one friend said, i have more hair on my chin than on my head) and it makes life so much easier
though my head was really cold today

i don't have the goatee though
i'm one of those guys w/ really blond hair, so no matter how long they go w/out shaving, it never looks like they have more than peach fuzz. damnit.

ppl say it looks ok on me, i just think it makes me look even younger than i really am

What I meant to say is processed corporate crap pop sucks, the backstreet boys and their clones, the sixteen year old sluts. That is what sucks. I realize that pop includes everything getting air time, what I meant all that shit they shove down our thrats with their lttle money grubbing hands.
