Default Skin upon reinstalling
I had uninstalled winamp about a week ago and today I had reinstalled it. I got what I guess is the default skin, small and black. What I want to know is how do I change it to get the skin that is used for the tutorial on the site. I've reached my limit on frustration. Any help is very much appreciated. Please keep in mind that I don't know the jargon of technical stuff.

Right-click Winamp > Skins > Winamp Modern
If 'Winamp Modern' is not there... Did you install the full version of Winamp? The skin which is used for the tutorial is the default modern skin. To use modern skins you need to install the full version of Winamp with Modern Skin support checked in the installer. |

I just installed the one that was under the button "free". Is that the full version one? Or is the full version one that costs money? I kept trying to change the skin, but it didn't have list of different ones.

After you click the button 'Free', there will be three options: Lite, Full and Bundle. You need Full or Bundle.
http://www.winamp.com/player/free.php The Pro version costs money, you don't need that one. |
