"Pro" Features Gone?
Howdy - -
Are these features gone, since there's no "Pro" version of 5.666 ? * Native video support including the most popular file formats for H.264 encoded video (in AVI, MP4, MKV, FLV & NSV containers) * Rip CDs to M4A/AAC, WMA, FLAC, WAV: Unlimited! * Pro! Burn Audio CDs: Upto 48x! Thanks. - - Herb |

The short answer is that if you already had a Pro licence then you still have, but if you don't then you can no longer buy it.

It seems to me that I must first install 5.65 Pro, and then install 5.666 Full on top of 5.65 Pro. Is that correct?

Yes. The 5.666 Full download will upgrade your Pro installation, you won't lose any Pro functions.

as long as you have a valid pro key you can just install 5.666 and then enter the pro key via the preferences if its not set as a pro install at that time. the only difference really of the pro installer was none of the ad / bundle stuff in it (now removed from the full installer) and the means to enter the pro key during install if needed though the prefs method works on any Wianmp version type. that is why there is no specific pro installer now as thats full one allows the same abiliity.
