sometimes files add to playlist, sometimes replace, why?
In my winamp 2.91, anytime I double click a media file from my HD it is added to the bottom of the winamp playlist, likewise most of the time files opened from a browser window are added, but sometimes... it completely replaces my entire playlist with the file from the browser. What controls whether or not the list is replaced or added to, I want the added-to-playlist behaviour to be how it always behaves.
In winamp 5 however I have found that it always replaces the playlist never adding to it, I have never been able to get winamp 5 to just add files to the playlist from browser or HD. Eo.S. |

Which browser? Internet Explorer 6? Other?
Windows OS? Winamp 5.21? Clean install? Which particular file types? mp3, m3u, pls, wmv, other? Winamp 5.21 > Prefs > File Types: Enqueue files on double click... When checked, the default Windows/IE action is "Enqueue" (add to playlist) when unchecked, the default action is Play (replace playlist) The only other relevant setting in the default setup is: Winamp 5.2x > Prefs > Jump to File > Shell Options: Make 'Enqueue & Play' the default action. I've known that particular option to make Firefox browser go a bit screwy, where it sometimes just replaces the playlist. But alas, Firefox doesn't really let you edit MIME settings in the same way as Mozilla/Netscape, where you can edit the command line and add switches, so there's not much which can be done about it, heh. |

Are there any commandline-type arguments to make a file or URL be enqued instead of playing? ie: I have a custom context menu item setup in k-meleon which lets me send a link on a webpage to winamp.exe. When I do this, it replaces everything currently in the playlist. Is there some argument (perhaps -enque) that I could add which would make it enque the item instead of playing it?
