CD-Text display

Hello,

I have Winamp 5.35 installed and I was wondering if it has the ability to display CD-Text.
Winamp version history says the following:

Winamp 5.31
* New: [in_cdda] CD Text reading support (with sonic engine enabled)

I burned some CDs with CD-Text using Nero (I checked them with EAC, the CD-Text is there), and I enabled the Sonic engine in the in_cdda.dll plugin configuration, but Winamp just displays: "Unknown Artist - Track X".

It looks to me that the CD-Text reading support is just for ripping purposes, is it not?

Also, I have tried installing Jentschi's CD-Text plugin (v1.4.5) but when I try to run Winamp, it crashes.

Is there any way to display CD-text in Winamp?
Am I doing something wrong?

Isn't there a kind soul that can enlighten me on the CD-Text subject?

Right click on one of the CD tracks in the playlist, select 'View File Info'
(or 'Edit CD Info' if in the Rip & Burn view in the ML)
and click the 'CD Text' button.

Unfortunately, when I click the 'CD Text' button, nothing happens.
All I see is "Unknown Album", "Unknown Artist", "Track X". Nothing changes when I click the CD Text button.

I guess there's no CD Text for me.

PS: Sorry for taking so long to reply. I had problems with my internet connection.
