Winamp stuck on setup

I'm trying to install 5.666 because the new beta version will not work at all, but it is stuck on setup and will not go past that.

It sends in the user information, asks if it wants to allow the app to make changes to my device and then it goes back to the setup screen again.

I take it you removed the beta by using windows remove software?

and i also take it you deleted the folder on your system in the prog files? before you installed the other version?
