64-bit Win7 w/Winamp 5.571 unable to stream MP3 over HTTP

I'm attempting to stream MP3s via HTTP in WinAmp 5.571 on 64-bit Win7 and it doesn't work - the HTTP connection never seems to connect to my HTTP server. (In this case, I'm using a Python script called edna to stream MP3s.)

Fresh WinAmp 5.571 (x86) install - no plugins
Windows 7 64-bit OS
Intel Core2 Duo E8400 processor
NVIDIA Quadro FX1800 video card

It's not a problem with the HTTP server - I'm able to successfully stream the music using VLC and the same server. The server is located on the same machine as WinAmp (and VLC), BTW. Others running the same version of WinAmp on different machines (and OSes) can also connect and stream music. It appears to be a problem with the version of WinAmp and the OS.

Help?

(Bump...)

Could I provide more information for someone? I'd be happy to do so.
