Winamp on linux (poll)

The last thread was closed so I am posting this just to say that I also want winamp ported to linux. I'm also posting a poll to see how many users want to use winamp in linux.

There is a base made with winamp 3. Besides I don't use any plugins in winamp. Only the defaults that come with it. I am not asking for plugins. Only winamp.

Nobody asked for it to be open source. I want a binary package just like we have it in Windows.

This will never happen. Deal with it. And it looks like only you voted for yes anyway

ClassicPro© v2.01 : This plugin allows you to use cPro skins in Winamp. ClassicPro skins are all SUI skins and loads very quickly. ClassicPro skins is even easier to skin than Winamp Classic skins. A new layout have been added since version 2.
Download ClassicPro© ==== cPro Skins ==== ClassicPro© Homepage ==== SC Forums

Oh no, a poll! Whatever will Nullsoft do, with one vote I guess they are required to do it now.

You knew switching to Linux you are stuck with Linux applications. Do you expect just enough whining to all Windows application developers that anyone would give a fuck about Linux? If you want Windows applications, run Windows. Period.

Stick to Amarok.

One of the best media players I've ever used on both Linux and Windows.

The Linux posts are really starting to feel like spam. Is there any way the mods can create a rule that immediately locks any thread asking about Winamp on Linux??

I mean....I like Linux too....but puhleese! How many times does this have to be answered??
