or is there a file where winamp keeps the library even as a temp/read file. I can do a rollback and try to get that one...

Any solutions possible are welcome.

Once again thanks a lot

nope, winamp only natively saves out it's current playlist on successful closing (or if a plugin tells it to do so). alas if you don't save / use gen_undo then there's not really anything you can do for a currently lost playlist other than to re-create it (if you'd not closed winamp then forceably killing the winamp.exe process could have kept the last 'complete' winamp.m3u8 safe from being altered to the new state)

well I do have the playlist but in my ipod, I can export it, but the problem is to tell winamp how to relate the files and the playlist. Unless there is another way to do it.
