"eSellerate engine not installed" ???
Every time I start Winamp now, I get a message dialog box telling me "eSellerate engine not installed". I haven't installed any plugins since that started happening, so I can't figure out what's causing it. I could neither find any information Googling nor on the Winamp forums. I have version 5.094 installed with the following plugins (plugins in use are in bold):
Input: Nullsoft CD/LineIn plug-in (CDDB2) v3.06 [in_cdda.dll] Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder v0.94 [in_dshow.dll] Reference FLAC Decoder v1.0beta6a [in_flac.dll] Nullsoft MIDI player 3.07 [in_midi.dll] Nullsoft Module Decoder v2.2.11 (x86) [in_mod.dll] Nullsoft MPEG(Layer1-3/CT AAC+/DolbyAAC)Audio Decoder 3.1 [in_mp3.dll] Fraunhofer IIS MP3 Surround Decoder V1.0f(x86) [in_mp3s.dll] .mpc Musepack plugin 0.99f [in_mpc.dll] Nullsoft NSV Decoder v1.05 [in_nsv.dll] ShnAmp Plugin for Winamp, by Wayne Stielau - V2.02 03-03-2002 [in_shn.dll] Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder v1.40 [in_vorbis.dll] Nullsoft Waveform Decoder v2.06 [in_wave.dll] Nullsoft WMA plug-in v2.11(x86) [in_wma.dll] Output: Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in v2.0c (x86) [out_disk.dll] Directsound output v2.32 (d) [out_ds.dll] Crudsoft Gapless Output v1.5 [out_gapless.dll] Nullsoft NULL Output Plug-In v1.0 beta (x86) [out_null.dll] Volume Logic 1.2 by Octiv [out_volumelogic.dll] waveOut output v2.1 (d) [out_wave.dll] Visualization: Advanced Visualization Sudio v2.81b [vis_avs.dll] MilkDrop 1.04b [vis_milk.dll] Nullsoft Tiny Fullscreen 2001 (v2.05) [vis_nsfs.dll] DSP/Effect: Enhancer v0.17 [dsp_ehn.dll] Nullsoft Signal Processing Studio DSP v0.36 [dsp_sps.dll] Simply Surround [dsp_ss.dll] DSP Stacker by Spacial*Audio Solutions, LLC [dsp_stacker.dll] General Purpose: AudioScrobbler for Winamp v1.1.9 Nullsoft Modern Skin Support v1.06 Nullsoft Global Hotkeys v1.3 Jump To File Extra v0.96ff Nullsoft Winamp Library v2.12 Yahoo! Thanks. |

Well, sounds like you have some shareware plug-in installed. I am not sure which one uses it though. Try removing each third-party plug-in one at a time until the error goes away.

That appears to be it. Though why it's doing it, I'm still not sure. I guess I'll email support or something. Thanks!

I've had the same problem and here is the solution:
http://www.esellerate.net/esellerate_update.asp There will be no error message. |

livignwater, thanks for the info, I guess. Maybe it can help someone else. However, Ttis thread died a year ago. I reinstalled Volume Logic and it was fine. That was a year ago. Mods, feel free to close this thread.
