With this coming back to page one, it's a good time to note that the latest version of TuneUp Utilities (2008) includes a very nice disk defragmenter in addition to the registry defragger that it's had for years. It checks your disk(s) and only defragments if/when necessary.

I've loved this tool for so long now, in fact, that I've decided to begin including a free copy installed on every gaming PC I sell (in addition to a year's subscription of NOD32 Antivirus).

And let me guess, you get these free copies for spamming the product in forums?

Muahahaha...I was just waiting(/baiting?) for that.

1) Hardly anyone here even knows where I sell my machines, 2) nobody here, even the ones I know in real life, know any of my seller accounts, 3) I've obviously never linked to any of my sales postings, and 4) nobody here even knows what title line I use for any of my products, so they wouldn't recognize any build as mine even if it jumped out of their screen and hit 'em in the face.

And from this forum no one will ever know these things - because, you see, that would be spamming. (Technically, only #3 covers spamming, but I like keeping a wide berth.)

Side note: MAN, the work is going so fast that I can't even tell anymore where one build ends and the next begins, at least not like I could up to a month ago. Rock and roll, baby!

I'm a psychosomatic sister running around without a leash.

I was referring to spamming that utility, whose name I shan't repeat here.

(seriously, the state this thread is in recommending anything by name only amounts to making it (and oneself) look shady)

Will do, bro. You're first on the list. I can multitask like crazy and my assembly/test bench has room to grow, but I know eventually I'll hit a point of critical mass. You'll get a call from me before I start missing orders.

No, your signature won't show up, and neither will any links you should post, so you'd better give it up right now.

i always liked the registry cleaning function of system mechanic pro, hell, the whole suite of tools is just short of wonderous, and the registry entries it cleans are never ones that actually didn't need cleaning as far as i've seen

i know that doesn't sound like much
but some programs install in funky ways that other registry cleanup tools will think means the key isn't needed, this one seems to know the difference though.

I hate everyone, so you don't have to.

Yeah, she stood me up though.

There are over 900 Motel Six locations in the US. I guess randomly picking one was not the best idea.

I use the "I fail at Spam" advanced registry cleaner.
It is easy to use and doing great job, no more strange errors or blue screen for me since i started to use it.
