Album art will not work with exclamation points

The album art downloader thing will not complete a successful search for any artists or albums that have an exclamation point in them. (it claims no results found)

Examples (Artist - Album):

Paramore - Riot!
Panic! At The Disco - any album
System Of A Down - Steal This Album!

The SOAD album doesn't appear to be in the database. No results here either, even if I remove the exclamation point.

I didn't entirely rule out that all of the artists/albums I tried that have exclamation points in them don't exist in the database, but I still find it highly unlikely that all the ones I tried don't exist. I have some rather vague and unknown music in my playlist, but album art exists for them, so how do Steal This Album! and Panic! At The Disco (both extremely popular) not exist?

For album covers Winamp can't find, I just use Google image search (example). I save the file as %album%.jpg (or folder.jpg if the album is in a folder by itself)

Steal This Album is in the database.

One Panic! at the Disco album.

Paramore - Riot! is there too.

As I said, it all works fine for me, so I'm honestly not sure what's going on there at all.

I tried searching again, and it finds nothing for those albums. It immediately tells me "Nothing found." I'm using the public Pro release of Winamp 5.5. Are you using a different version, DJ Egg?

Winamp uses the IE engine. Empty your Temporary Internet files in Internet Explorer. If using IE6 also checkmark "Delete all offline content".

Then try your album art search again. See if that helps.

Don't email or PM me concerning Winamp. Instead, either start a NEW TOPIC or post a REPLY in the appropriate thread in these forums. This will also benefit others who may have a similar question or problem. But before posting, please first Search the forums and read all FAQs and all Sticky threads.

Winamp uses IE to connect to the Gracenote library for album art? Why...? Why can't it just directly connect?

I deleted my entire browsing history in IE7. Still getting "Not found" on the System of a Down album.

However, going to the link DJ Egg posted works just fine.
