Blue screens with Winamp 5.5

I wish I could tell you more about the circumstances, but ever since installing Winamp 5.5 it causes my system (Dell 8400 with Radeon X800GT video card, 2GB RAM, WinXP Home sp2) to go to blue screen. It takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours of running, but then my system just freezes with no information about the reason. It only happens when Winamp is running. My system has been solid as a rock and NEVER blue screened with all previous Winamp versions. Do you have any new releases I could try or can I go back to an older release?
Thanks,
Pete

blue screens occur ONLY when you either have a physical hardware problem or your drivers are broken.

if I were you i'd check for overheating test the RAM and update all my drivers.
